What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love helping to make a difference by placing nurses in hospitals who have needs, and by forming lasting friendships with my long-distance "co-workers" ;)
What do you do for travelers that you feel is completely unique to you?
I make sure every nurse I chat with is completely informed about every detail of a travel assignment, and what it means to be a travel nurse. While we work together to find them an assignment, I love to have fun, laugh, and hear all about their adventures while on assignment! It will never be a dull conversation if you are working with me! :)
What is your favorite thing about working with travelers?
Relationships. Each nurse I speak with, it's amazing the connections and similarities we share! I absolutely love it, when a nurse says something funny, and I am just crying laughing on the phone with them! It is so uplifting, and hey, laughter is the best medicine, right?!
What is your most valuable advice for the travelers you work with?
It is so important to know who you work with/for as a recruiter & nurse, and as a nurse & agency! Finding a company/recruiter that truly has your best interest at hand, that you can trust, and have fun with, is SO important!
Why are you passionate about this industry?
I am very passionate about the heart and spirit it takes to be a travel nurse. Nurses are going into unfamiliar territory, and caring for complete strangers every day. The care that I receive, or my loved ones receive in a hospital, is the same care that I want to show to every nurse I work with! It takes a special person to be a nurse!
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in southern Ohio, near Chillicothe, OH! Small town girl, now living in the city near Dayton, OH. Quite the adjustment!!! :D
What are your favorite places to travel?
I love to go to the beach!! Clearwater is my fav! Also, there's nothing like a beautiful mountain view, and peaceful trails.
What's on your travel wishlist
EVERY.WHERE. I haven't been a lot of place, but I really want to go out west!! And explore all of the beaches and different "types" of the ocean!
Tell us about your family or pets
I have a daughter named Claire, and she has a brother on the way! I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we also share our homes with our Goldendoodle, Theo and Lab mix, Dottie <3
What's your favorite food?
I am a huge foodie! I love all different types of food! From burritos, to sushi, crab legs, a good steak!! Also, you can never go wrong with some ravioli from my personal chef...Chef BOYARDEE... Oh! And a can of pepsi :)

What's your all-time favorite hobby?
Anything artsy/creative! I love to listen to/make music, craft, paint and a good DIY project!!
