What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy working with nurses to help them find the best travel assignment that works for them. "Hearing" the smile in their voice when I help them find their dream assignment makes it all worth it! The people I work with also make coming in each day a lot of fun and so enjoyable.
What do you do for travelers that you feel is completely unique to you?
I have had a number of health issues in my past and I always remember the nurses who were with me trying to make me smile and help me get through each day when things might not have always been the brightest. I take that same approach to my travelers. You might have some tough days at work, during compliance, etc. but just know that I am here to help everyway I can to always make you as happy as possible while on assignment.
What is your favorite thing about working with travelers?
My favorite thing is learning about their experiences because each traveler's experience is so unique and different. I also love learning about where they have traveled previously and where they want to go in the future. Traveling is one of my passions and I hope to travel to all 50 states one day.
What is your most valuable advice for the travelers you work with?
There will be ups and downs as a travel nurse and also some things that are out of your control and the best thing to do is adapt as best as you can. Also know that I will be there every step of the way and especially for first time travelers you are not alone on this journey.
Why are you passionate about this industry?
Similar to what I had mentioned above, I am so passionate because of all the nurses that helped me when I was younger. I want to feel like I am not only making a difference on nurses lives but in the patients that they will care for as well.
Where did you grow up?
I am originally from Cleveland and went to college at Miami University in Oxford, OH and have been living in Cincinnati ever since.
What are your favorite places to travel?
My favorite place that I have ever traveled to is Hawaii but the place I continuously go back to is Naples, FL.
What's on your travel wishlist
My travel wishlist would include going on an Alaskan cruise or a Mediterranean cruise.
Tell us about your family or pets
My family including my mom, dad and brother all live in Cleveland. I currently live with my girlfriend along with our two cats and hope to get a dog in the near future
What's your favorite food?
My favorite food hands down in Italian.
What is your favorite pump-up song?
My favorite pump up song would have to be "The Final Countdown"!
What's your all-time favorite hobby?
My favorite hobby is traveling if that counts, if not it would be attending as many sporting events as I can.
