Learn all about the capital and largest city of Rhode Island, including historical, architectural and nautical points of interest while taking in picturesque scenery by joining the Providence River Boat Company tour. These pontoon boat tours offer lots of great photo-ops, with the sunset excursions particularly unforgettable. By booking a month in advance for the WaterFire nights, you’ll have the best seat in the house for watching the internationally-renowned art installation. On these evenings, downtown Providence is transformed by 100 bonfires that float just above the surface of the Providence and Moshassuck rivers.

2. STROLL BACK IN TIME ON BENEFIT STREET IN PROVIDENCE
