July Nurse of the Month: Shawn

Health Carousel Travel Nursing has the privilege of being surrounded by a host of expertly skilled nurses. Each month it becomes increasingly difficult to highlight just one nurse because of the level of talent we interact with on a daily basis. We have many nurses deserving of recognition, but this month our team has decided to honor Shawn as our July Nurse of the Month.

Shawn has traveled with her recruiter, Cindi Greene since May of 2015. In fact, she has worked at the same Indian Heath Service facility for the length of her tenure with us. This proves how valuable her skills are to this facility.

According to Cindi, “the facility loves her patient care, how flexible she is, and how much she is willing to go above and beyond to make sure the facility has the coverage it needs to function properly.” At times Shawn has committed upwards of 50 hours per week to ensure quality patient care. This type of reliability has led to the facility extending her contract five times.

Shawn’s proficient abilities and exceptional attitude contribute to her success, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work with such a skilled nurse. We are confident that Shawn will continue to excel in her career. It is our goal to make her journey as smooth as possible, so she can continue to provide excellent patient care.
