Super Nurse for June 2017: Bonnie

Health Carousel Travel Nursing is always proud to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of our nurses. Every working nurse is deeply appreciated by our entire team, but it gives us great pride to spotlight standout performances with our Travel Nurse of the Month Award. June’s winner is Bonnie, who is a talented nurse and a true ambassador. Congrats, Bonnie! You’re the Traveler of the Month for June 2016!

Ben on Bonnie:

Bonnie has been traveling with us for nine months, serving three assignments, on the way to her fourth. The feedback we’ve received from her facilities is that she’s strong with patients, very courteous, and is often requested by name by repeat patients. Just this past month, she was given hospital-wide recognition for personal acknowledgment by her patients. One patient said “All the staff members are awesome, but Bonnie has been especially helpful. We had her for the past two days and we requested to have her again today.” Another said, “Great staff. This is our second child and we chose to come back because of the wonderful care. Carrie was exceptional last night and Bonnie has been super today.” 

She goes above and beyond the call of duty by ensuring patients always have the best and most comfortable care during their stay in the facilities. She checks back on mothers and their babies after delivery and moved into the post-partum unit. Bonnie stays over when needed, works as hard as anyone, and wants to extend her assignments, which is a huge help to her facilities. I’m proud to be Bonnie’s recruiter!
