The DAISY Award celebrates Extraordinary Nurses, and Tailored Healthcare Staffing is proud to take part in this recognition. Our nursing staff headed to Cox South in Springfield, Missouri to surprise Kelli Jo Bruce, RN with this prestigious honor in nursing.

Kelli Jo was selected because of these amazing words shared from the family of a patient: There are no words that seem adequate to describe the amount of gratitude our family has to you and the care you provided mom during her short journey with cancer. We are so grateful for your continuous positive attitude and determination you showed mom during her scary situation. You could easily see the gratitude and sense of safety and security on mom’s face each time she saw you. Your listening ear, comforting words and multiple hugs made the awful situation more bearable. You went above and beyond the typical health care provider to give us strength, comfort and support. Thank you for your caring and professional manner of service.

And it’s not just the family that thinks Kelli Jo is deserving of this award. Her manager says, “Kelli you rock!! Thank you for coming and helping our team. You have a heart of gold. You are a wonderful nurse and teammate!” While Kelli’s recruiter gives a glowing review saying Kelli is ‘by far one of the hardest working and most caring nurses I have ever worked with’.
